How to pathogens make you feel unwell? | Either by releasing toxins(poisons) that make you feel unwell, or by damaging cells. |

How do white blood cells enter the body? | 1. They can ingest them, and kill them by digesting them 2. They produce anti-bodies which help destroy specific pathogens 3.They produce anti-toxins that counter the toxins released by the pathogens |
Why are antibiotics only able to kill bacteria? | Viruses are inside the body cells. |
Why do some pathogens spread rapidly | They can mutate which makes them different to stop . So the memory cells cannot recognise the pathogen. This makes them spread rapidly and cause a pandemic, and nobody is immune it instantly. |
How does natural selection cause some pathogens become immune to certain antibiotics? | They mutate to not be affected by them,. |
What is meant by vaccination? | Dead or weakened forms of the bacteria are injected into the blood to make the white blood cells create anti-bodies and memory cells so that it becomes immune to that specific bacteria. |
