RAM and ROM Mindmap

RAM stands for Random access memory and ROM Stands for read-only memory
ROM is a Read-Only memory which means you can only store all infomation
RAM is a random access memory which when computer is turned off it loses all memory
there is a major diffrence between ROM and a RAM chip. A ROM chip is non-volatile and does not require a constant source of power to retain infomation stored on it. When power is lost or turned off, a ROM chip stores all infomation
Volatile memory is a computer storage that only maintan its data while the device is powered
The diffrence between static RAM and dynamic RAM Is that dynamic ram is mostly used in todays technlogy and it is made up of two parts transistor and capacitor and static RAM uses a completly diffrent technlogy in static RAM a form of flip flops holds each bit of data
