Antalgic	Decreased step length in order to limit WB on involved limb secondary to pain.
Ataxic	Unsteadiness with a wide BOS and exaggerated movements
Circumduction	Circular motion of LE during swing phase. To make up for weak hip, knee, or dorsiflexion.
Equine	High steps usually from gastroc muscles
Festinating	Walking on toes usually slow at first. Similar to Parkinsonian gait.
Scissor	When LE crosses midline during gait
Spastic	Stiff movements usually found is paraplegia
Steppage	Excessice hip and knee flexion. Usually secondary to weak dorsiflexion.
Tabetic	Strong steppage gait where the foot slaps the ground.
Trendelenburg	Hip drop and excessive lateral trunk flexion due to weak gult medius
Vaulting	Increasing leg clearance by pelvis and plantar flexion during stance phase.
