      2. John Gorrie in 1844

         Anmerkungen:

         • He built a refriferator based on Oliver Evans' design to make ice to cool the air for his yellow fever patients.

            • he didn't patent the refrigerator but the process of liquifying gas in 1876 that is part of basic refrigeration technology.
