What happens to the rib cage as you breathe? | The diaphram and other muscles between your ribs contract pulling the rib cage up and out. |
How does this moving of the rib cage change your physical appearance? | It increases space in your chest making the air pressure in there decrease and therefore physically showing the movement of your chest up and down. |
How does exercise affect your breathing? | Your breathing rate becomes faster as you need more energy to keep your muscles moving. |
