Therefore A word used to introduce the logical result of something that has just been mentioned. "I aproved the test, therefore the teacher will give an extra point."
Discourage Used to prevent something or to prevent somebody from doing something. "His parents tried to discourage him from being an actor."
Obnoxious Something extremely unpleasant, especially in a way that offends people. "The movie is loud and obnoxious."
Straightforward Something that is easy to do or to understand. "It's quite straightforward to get here."
Delighted That someone feels very pleased. "I'd be absolutely delighted to come."
Butcher A person whose job is cutting up and selling meat in a shop. "My uncle is a butcher."
Campaigners A person who leads or takes part in a campaign, especially one for social or political. "She's an active campaigner for animal rights."
Refreshment The fact of making somebody feel less tired. "Our hotel is a place to rest and find refreshment for mind and body."
Luggage Bags, cases, etc. that contain somebody's clothes and things when travelling. "There's room for one more piece of luggage."
Handler General term to refer to a person who organizes, train or controls something as a job. "The police brought in dog handlers to join the hunt for the attacker."
Slump To fall wheter in price/value/number/etc. or in a literal way. "The paper's circulation has slumped to 90 000."
Nevertheless Used to despite something that you have just mentioned. "Our defeat was expected but it is disappointing nevertheless."
However Word used to introduce a statement that contrasts with something that has just been said. "He was feeling bad. He went to work, however, and tried to concentrate."
Bail Money that somebody agrees to pay if a person accused of a crime does not appear at their trial. "She was released on $2 000 bail."
Fee An amount of money that you pay for professional advice or services. "Customers pay an annual fee for the service."
Rectified Correct something that was wrong. "We must take steps to rectify the situation."
Setback A difficulty or problem that delays or prevents something, or makes a situation worse. "The team suffered a major setback when their best player was injured."
Rebate An amount of money that is paid back to you because you have paid too much. "He's claiming a 100% tax rebate."
Spam It's advertising material sent by email to people who have not asked for it. "I get thousands of spam emails each month."
Prompt The action of making somebody decide to do something or to cause something to happen. "The discovery of the bomb prompted an increase in security."
